Chile allows you to wild camp pretty much anywhere. Other countries don’t allow you to just set up tent, but it’s very common and safe in Chile to just pick a spot in Mother Nature and camp for free. . All over the country are these glorified Gas Stations (Copec) which feel like a fancy international airport. They offer free WiFi, a little cafe (espresso, sandwiches, packaged fruit), a small shop, white clean tile restrooms, and clean hot water showers for $1.50. You can ‘recharge’ your batteries and get a good shower, then head out to camp along the coast for free. Perfect for us… and all our trucker friends;) . . . . . . #chile #chilegram #ExploreLatinAmerica #KeepitWild #Nature #lifeofadventure #optoutside #outsidemagazine #ontheroad #ExpeditionPortal #Tourtheplanet #NextTravelGoals #lifestyleoverland #overlanding #toyota4runner #travelgram #bucketlist #ikamper #skycamp #RTT #overlandinglife #camping #wildcamping #vueltamerica
