Don’t cry for me Argentinaaaaa 🇦🇷 . (Lindsey here) Like most challenges, there’s a physical journey and there’s an internal, personal journey. I had imagined that I would be writing a lot in my journal, digging deep into my past, and discovering my future… straight up, “Reese Witherspoon in ‘Wild’” style. But more than a personal discovery, on this journey, I’ve learned to work in a team. Instead of independent heads, on this trip, we’ve developed roles and truly rely on each other for everything. “Teamwork” is a great buzzword, but it’s actually a lot of hard work. You need to trust your partner, show up to do your part, and keep the goal very clear. . Throughout, José has been fantastic at planning, travel bureaucracy, tracking finances, letting me buy bottles of Malbec, and overall making this trip possible. I’m absolutely in love with this man and so grateful to have him on my team. . Argentina was been good to us: Patagonia was magical and we got engaged in Ushuaia. Flying to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and saying ciao to South America👋🏽 .
